INDIGO DUCK HUNTER CAMO
This fabric is indigo camouflage, created based on a reversible camouflage pattern introduced by the U.S. Army in the 1940s. The surface is finished in navy color with indigo.
After producing a reversible beige and green camouflage fabric from the 1940s, the beige side is sprayed with indigo to create a neibee camouflage. The nature of indigo allows the underlying camouflage to emerge as the color fades. The "Duck Hunter Camo," which was the basis for the design of this fabric, was reportedly very similar to the camouflage pattern used by enemy forces at the time, causing frequent accidents during battle in which the camo was misidentified and misfired upon by allies, and was created based on a fictional story that it was dyed with indigo to prevent misfiring.
Old clothes used as a base for the camouflage
USMC P-44 Jacket
The camouflage pattern was created in the 1940s, featuring a herringbone reversible camouflage.
We wanted to create an original camouflage pattern while retaining the atmosphere of the vintage clothing on which it was based.
The look of the fabric when it is new is nice, but it is also finished in a fabric that can be enjoyed as it ages in indigo.
