FABRICATION FRANÇAISE

FABRICATION FRANÇAISE

A nut button made a few decades ago, purchased in France some time ago.
The words “FABRICATION FRANÇAISE (made in France)” are printed on the base, and the surface of the button has a spiral carving pattern. The three-dimensional effect created by this engraving enhances the classic and elegant impression.

This type of decoration is one of the representative design styles of the mid-century (1950s to 1960s). These pieces were carefully made by craftsmen in specialized stores and workshops in France at the time, and are no longer produced, making them extremely valuable dead stock.

These buttons, which still retain the texture of the materials and the aesthetics of the time, add a classical charm to modern dressmaking.

Now, what kind of project should we make use of these buttons...
