Classic Striped Fabric
The brand will make its debut in the fall of 2024.
Overseas exhibitions and business meetings for the first collection were more favorable than expected. Currently, we are meeting with weavers and sewing factories for production. We are preparing for full production while making modifications to the samples.
The photo below shows a sample fabric for the second collection we are currently working on, which we designed based on a 100-year-old fabric sample book. We are carefully working on the details of yarn properties, color analysis, fabric weaving, and number of stitches.
Simulations are repeated many times before we weave the fabric. The number of warp and weft yarns, unevenness, weave structure, etc. are created based on vintage data from 100 years ago.
Once the simulation is complete, the next step is to test-dye the yarns. Since subtle differences in yarn color can greatly change the feel of the fabric, we test-dye the yarn many times until we are satisfied with the results.
When checking yarn colors during trial dyeing, attention must also be paid to lighting. Natural light in the morning, afternoon light, fluorescent light, incandescent light, and other types of light will greatly change the appearance of the color. Once the color is determined, the yarn is dyed and trial weaving begins.
The actual weaving will look different from what you see on the flat paper.
The original shirt fabric designed while retaining the classical atmosphere is now ready to be used as desired. We will now decide on the details of the shirt design and begin sample production.
