Classic three-piece workwear was widely popular among the working class in the 1920s to 1940s. It was not just work clothes, but also a way of expressing the wearer's pride.
Wearing a three-piece suit and presenting a neat appearance while working was a way of showing respect for one's profession. This attire, which was both functional and maintained a proper appearance, symbolized the very attitude toward work for the laborers of that era.

These French pants from the 1930s were not only to be owned as fascinating vintage clothing, but also led to the challenge of reviving the material itself.
By dismantling the vintage garment and analyzing each thread, we were able to highlight the meticulous techniques that craftsmen of the time put into the fabric. We discovered that the deep hue of the twisted yarn and the exquisite contrast between the raw stripes were created by skillfully calculating the tension and density of the yarn during the actual weaving process.
What was particularly surprising was the difference in the pattern that appears on the reverse side. The stripes on the front give a classical and calm impression, but when turned inside out, the bold design shows a different face. I felt that this was the beauty of the “duality” of the fabrics of the time, and also a “sense of fun” that went beyond mere practicality. This discovery gave us an idea that is not available in modern fabric development.
In order to faithfully reproduce the fabric of these trousers, we paid close attention to every detail, starting from the selection of yarns to the settings of the weaving machine. By maximizing the texture of the twisted yarn and reproducing the three-dimensionality of the stripes, we have created a fabric that looks as if it has time-traveled back to the 1930s.
The individuality of the six different types of yarns woven together gives this fabric a profound expression. By skillfully combining a variety of yarns, such as uneven, sweet-twisted, and high-twisted yarns, we have created a texture with a perfect balance of roughness and smoothness. Although seemingly simple, the rich expression that changes its appearance depending on the angle of light and changes over time is one of the charms of this product. The contrast of textures created by the different yarns is a perfect combination of vintage warmth and modern comfort.
This fabric is the result of meticulous attention to detail, and is a one-of-a-kind special piece of fabric created with a great deal of care and attention. The more you wear it, the more you will grow to love it, making it a gem that will be with you for a long time.
