Based on Italian military chino trousers from the 1950s–60s,
this piece is reinterpreted for today.
The fabric is an original reproduction of 1940s U.S. Army chino twill—
durable yet refined, softening over time and developing character with wear.
The front features small, understated buttons,
adding a quiet sense of elegance to its military roots.
Flap back pockets enhance both functionality and detail,
keeping essentials secure while adding depth to the design.
A single pleat creates a natural ease through the waist,
balancing comfort with a clean, structured silhouette.

This chino cloth is based on the standard military chino trouser fabric used by the U.S. Army in the 1940s. At the time, the fabric was produced in a khaki color that effectively concealed dirt and dust, offering a degree of camouflage—making it an ideal color for military purposes.
While the newly developed fabric is inspired by vintage material, it differs from the original by using sulfur-dyed yarns for the weft threads. This allows wearers to enjoy the classic vintage feel, while also experiencing the rich, characterful aging that comes with long-term use.
