This fabric is a cotton reproduction of 1920s wool undergarments, woven with coarse yarns. The short fiber, uneven yarns are ribbed to provide a light, comfortable feel. It is more comfortable than vintage wool underwear and is easy to wash and use on a daily basis. Furthermore, the fabric becomes softer with washing, and the more it is worn, the more its texture becomes familiar and you can enjoy its change over time.
QUALITY : 100% Cotton
WIGHT : 330gms / 12.0oz
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN : Japan

Underwear shirt from the 1920s, woven of wool. At that time, synthetic fibers were not yet widespread, and natural materials such as wool and cotton were the norm. Wool is highly hygroscopic and stays relatively dry even after absorbing perspiration. It is also highly breathable and allows moisture to escape, making it comfortable. In addition, wool is an extremely durable and long-lasting material. In an era when the emphasis was on using quality clothing for a long time, wool was the material of choice for many people because of its durability.
