At first glance, it appears to be a simple ecru fabric—
but upon closer inspection, a jacquard pattern quietly emerges.

From a distance, it reads as plain.
Up close, a subtle texture reveals itself.
A kind of beauty created not by color, but by structure.

Fabrics like this were once used for indoor garments,
waistcoats, and light jackets—
pieces that lived quietly within everyday life.
There is something compelling about that kind of presence.

At PREQUEL, we are planning to use this fabric
as a base for an upcoming piece.
Not as a reproduction,
but as a translation.
Coming soon.
