In a city where fashion, culture, history, and modern life coexist, we presented our collection alongside the philosophy behind our work.

At PREQUEL, every project begins with fabric.
Drawing inspiration from century-old French sample books and archival garments, we study the techniques, atmosphere, and ways of thinking embedded in them. Rather than reproducing the past, we translate these elements into clothing that fits naturally into contemporary life.
This exhibition offered visitors the opportunity to experience the results of that process firsthand.

Throughout the show, we had the chance to engage in meaningful conversations with buyers and industry professionals from around the world.
Questions such as “Why this fabric?” and “Why this form?” lie at the core of PREQUEL’s approach, and it was reassuring to feel that these considerations were clearly reflected in the garments themselves.

We do not reproduce the past.
We translate it into the present.

That philosophy seemed to resonate naturally within Paris—a city shaped by layers of history and constant reinvention.
