In the latest issue of 2nd magazine,
I had the opportunity to be featured in a conversation with Mr. Suda of Kamakura Classics.

I am truly grateful for this opportunity.
Personally, I have always been drawn to the finer details—
not only in clothing and fabrics, but also in elements such as labels and buttons.
A few years ago, I began developing my own brands,
PREQUEL (apparel) and FOLEY (fabric), based on that interest.
In the process of making things day by day,
it’s easy to become accustomed to my own perspectives and methods.
However, through this conversation with Mr. Suda—
whose approach to craftsmanship comes from a completely different angle—
I was able to gain many new insights and perspectives.

It was a deeply inspiring experience,
and at the same time, a valuable opportunity to learn.
I also felt genuinely encouraged
to have the things I have been carefully working on, piece by piece,
recognized and appreciated by others.

There is still much trial and error ahead,
but I will continue to approach each step with care
and steadily pursue my work.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support.
