This original chino fabric is inspired by the military chino trouser fabric adopted by the U.S. military in the 1940s. At the time, khaki was considered the ideal military color, blending naturally with dust and the surrounding landscape.
We reinterpreted this vintage fabric by using sulfur-dyed yarns in the weft, creating a material that develops rich character through wear. As the fabric gradually fades, layered tones and subtle shadows unique to sulfur dyes begin to emerge. The result is a fabric that balances vintage ruggedness with a modern sensibility.
