Inspired by a fabric sample book created more than a century ago, this original check pattern was designed as an exploration of time itself. Every detail was carefully examined—yarn twist, color tone, weave structure, and yarn count—then intentionally adjusted to avoid uniformity. Subtle irregularities were introduced to recreate the softened, faded appearance usually found only in textiles shaped by years of wear.
Rather than relying on artificial distressing, the fabric expresses age through its construction, allowing depth and nuance to emerge naturally across the surface. The result is a check pattern with quiet complexity, offering visual richness without excess. Soft from the very first touch, it feels immediately familiar against the skin, as though already broken in.
