A special open-collar shirt produced as part of the Shop Custom Edition.

This is a limited-edition piece with a special specification that is not included in PREQUEL’s regular collections.

Using the original PREQUEL fabric developed for the S1007 Checked Open-Collar Shirt, we have created this special open-collar shirt using the same fabric.

Although it features the same fabric as the S1007, the different design and silhouette give it a distinctly different character. The distinctive check pattern, inspired by a French textile sample book from approximately 100 years ago, combined with the soft, faded character of a fabric that appears to have been worn and loved for many years, can be enjoyed in a more casual style.

This item was produced as a Shop Custom Edition specifically for one of PREQUEL’s stockists and is not produced or sold as part of the regular collection.

The pieces now being offered through the PREQUEL Official Online Store are limited to a very small number of surplus units prepared to ensure that the required quantity could be fulfilled for the stockist at the time of production, along with a small number of additional units resulting from production adjustments.

As a result, only a very limited quantity is available.

FABRIC

An original PREQUEL fabric featuring a custom-designed check pattern inspired by a French textile sample book from approximately 100 years ago. Through extensive research into yarn twist, color, weave structure, and yarn count, we have recreated the distinctive faded character and worn-in appearance of a vintage fabric that has been used and loved for many years. The fabric is characterized by its soft, comfortable texture that gently conforms to the body, together with a rich and nuanced appearance. While retaining the unique atmosphere of antique textiles, it has been developed into a fabric that can be naturally worn as part of everyday modern clothing.

DESIGN

Designed with an open collar and relaxed silhouette, this shirt offers a comfortable fit that allows you to wear it with ease.

It can be casually worn over a T-shirt or buttoned up and worn on its own as a shirt. It pairs naturally with a wide range of bottoms, including jeans, chinos, and shorts, making it an easy and versatile piece for everything from resort wear to everyday casual styling.

By keeping the design itself simple, the distinctive check pattern and soft texture reminiscent of vintage fabric are brought to the forefront. With continued wear, the fabric develops even more character, gradually becoming a one-of-a-kind piece that reflects the person who wears it.
