SHOP CUSTOM EDITION / LIMITED ITEM

A special open-collar shirt produced as part of the Shop Custom Edition.

This is a limited-edition piece with a special specification that is not included in PREQUEL’s regular collections.

Using the original PREQUEL fabric developed for the S1004 Indigo Stripe Shirt, we created a new version featuring an open-collar design.

While using the same fabric as the S1004, the open collar and relaxed silhouette give the shirt a distinctly different character. The deep, rich tones of indigo and the distinctive stripe pattern can be enjoyed in a more casual and relaxed style.

Only a very limited number have been produced. A rare PREQUEL piece, specially made as a Shop Custom Edition.

FABRIC

An original PREQUEL fabric inspired by French textile archives from approximately 100 years ago. We studied the weaving structures and yarn techniques of the period and reinterpreted them for contemporary clothing.

The fabric features deep, rich tones created through indigo dyeing, combined with a distinctive stripe pattern expressed through the weaving structure. With continued wear, the indigo gradually changes in tone, allowing the unique character of natural aging to develop over time.

The fabric retains the unique atmosphere of antique textiles while allowing the distinctive aging and evolution of indigo to be enjoyed through everyday wear.

DESIGN

Designed with an open collar and relaxed silhouette, this shirt offers a comfortable fit that allows you to wear it with ease.

It can be casually worn over a T-shirt or buttoned up and worn on its own as a shirt. Its versatile design makes it easy to incorporate into a wide range of styles.

By keeping the design itself simple, the distinctive check pattern and unique character of the fabric are brought to the forefront. With continued wear, the fabric develops even more character, gradually becoming a one-of-a-kind piece that reflects the person who wears it.
