THE STORY BEFORE THE GARMENT.

A new piece for 2027 Autumn / Winter is beginning to take shape.

The starting point is a vintage French motorcycle coat.

We are studying its proportions, double-breasted construction, collar, pockets, cuffs, and functional details — then considering how those elements can be reinterpreted as a leather jacket for PREQUEL.

Not a reproduction.

The original garment is only the beginning.

For the leather, we are exploring a very dark brown — dyed so deeply that it appears almost black at first glance.

In shadow, black.
In the light, a subtle brown begins to emerge.

We want the color to reveal itself gradually, and to develop even more depth and character through wear.
