FROM THE ARCHIVE TO THE LOOM.

It started with a pair of old trousers found at a flea market.

Dating from around the 1920s–30s, the fabric had a distinctive striped structure and texture that caught our attention.

So we began to take it apart.

Not simply to reproduce an old fabric, but to understand how it was made.

The yarns.
The weave.
The density.
The stripe construction.
The subtle irregularities created by time and wear.

The original fabric is now being analyzed and translated into a new weave structure.

From there, we begin experimenting — changing yarns, weight, balance, and construction to explore what this fabric could become today.

An old pair of trousers is not the destination.
It is the starting point.

A fragment of the past, studied and reconstructed for the next PREQUEL collection.

Still in development.

THE PAST IS WHERE THE NEXT STORY BEGINS.
